BICK'S CAN SCHEDULE ALL YOUR TRAINING TO FIT YOUR BUSY LIFE STYLE....SCHOOL, SPORTS OR WORK!!!
IN PERSON CLASSROOM:
​
Bicks has class twice a month generally Monday- Wednesday for 2 weeks.
( 6 classes 4 hours each class 24 hours total)
​
Regular Schedule: (after school hours) 4:30 pm- 8:45 pm
​
Summer Schedule: 10:00 am-2:00 pm
​Spring Break/Christmas break Schedule: 11am-3:15pm
(hours subject to change)

*NOTE: PARENTS MUST PICK UP STUDENTS ON TIME FOR CLASS AND DRIVING*
***Makeup classes can be arranged in the next set of classes.

Each class is a specific lesson plan. Students must take each class however they do not need to be taken in order with the exceptions on day 1 and 6.
​
To start classes, simply call the office to register and make a deposit.
​
Course Outline:
During the students classroom training, we will go over the following subjects:
+++New laws, Driving Responsibilities, Your Drivers License, Signs, Signals, Roadway markings and point laws
+++Basic Vehicle Controls, Seatbelts, Steering, Backing, Lane Changes, Defensive Driving, Smith System, SEE, Yielding the Right of Way, Organ Donation.
+++Controlled/Uncontrolled Intersections, Railroad Crossings, Urban Driving, Rural Driving, Final Road Test Expectations.
++++Expressways, Effects of Drivers Condition, Speeding, Road Rage, Adverse Driving Conditions, Handling Emergencies.
+++Alcohol/Drugs, Traffic Laws of OVIs, Coping with Peer Pressure
+++Buying and Owning a Vehicle, Insurance, Environmental Concerns, Final Classroom Exam

BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING:
​
Students who do in person classes will schedule their in car lessons while they are in class.
​
Students who do online classes cannot schedule any in car lessons until they fully complete the online course and receive the online certificate.
Behind the wheel training is a one on one lesson with the student and the instructor. The only exception to this rule is for the purpose of transporting the next student to their ending location. For this purpose we "piggy back" drivers meaning once a students lesson is over the next student will be transporting that student to their ending location.

***STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO WEAR CROCS OR SANDALS FOR IN CAR LESSONS AS THEY POSE A SAFETY HAZARD AND CAN GET STUCK ON THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS.
